What it is fellow anglers. I'm Dave. 52 years young. South San Jose resident. 4 grown kids...3 daughters/1 son & 1 granddaughter. Married near 32 years.
Fellow member Kodiax, (Dale), turned me on to your site here. He, my son David & I hooked up last Saturday outta HMB for a shot at the rockies/lings, but the conditions were rather snotty at best, so we made a short morning of it, headed for the barn & pulled the plug.
I've either been a member, or continue to be a member on the following sites:
Anglernet.net...Full Speed Fishing...Coastside Fishing Club...Motherlode Fishing Tales. I think I even joined some high Sierra site at one time, but didn't hang long.
So I see a few familiar names...jeez, we gotta get these guys a postin'!
Been at the computin' thing say 4+ years or so. Never thought you could change this ol' dinosaur, but I'm addicted now.
I like the idea of a relaxed atmosphere & kick back attitude as you say. I've seen, too, much of this anal scene, bashing, boosted egos, and all that. I say live & let live, and take folks for who they are. We all have our issues...so what...big deal. Live life to it's fullest every day cause it's one short ride. Help a fellow angler where you can and enjoy each other's company.
So hope I'll fit in okay. You may have to shoe me in the ball bag from time to time, but I think we'll get along just fine. I'll say right from the get go that I unfortunately don't hit the party scene anymore, but was at the top of my game back in the day & partied with the best of 'em! Age, health & all that catches up with ya. I can probably direct you to the nearest detox center though, or provide a good antidote cure for the common hangover.
Got a couple of boats...big one & small one...10' Livingston w/1.5 hp trollo & a 8 hp Nissan and a 21' Seaswirl Topaz Cuddy I/O.
I still Rock & Roll hardcore. Fish On...glad to be aboard!
