I'm new to fishing in the Bay Area. Last summer I bought a '84 Klamath Speedmaster with a 15hp Honda (1990s?). It's barely more than a dingy but it fits in the garage. I installed some luxury items...3 seats, a Garmin GPS/Sonar, and a bimini top. So far I've fished salmon and steelhead on the lower Klamath, rockfish in Crescent City and Monterey, and been laughed at by Stripers and Sturgeon in the Bay and Delta. Last week I thought I hooked a nuclear submarine out by the Oakland Airport. Turned out I snagged a poor little Bat Ray in the tail. At the time, I didn't know what the fucking thing was. Thoughts of Steve Irwin and that sunbathing chick went thru my head as I pulled out the hook from it's business end.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to catching some fish this year...

P.S. What's the best way to install cup holders on a boat??
